I spent hours creating a listing on Wiki - carefully reviewing formatting and other issues, and it has been marked for speedy deletion but there isn't anything in it that is self promotional. I was told it doesn't conform with G11, but G11 states "Note: An article about a company or a product which describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion. "

All of the other law firms in our region are listed in the same manner and I'm not sure why ours is marked for deletion, especially since we two of our founders were relatively significant figures in Wisconsin and World War II and also because we are the oldest law firm in Madison and have been featured on the radio and in the news.

I'm not trying to "advertise" I'm only trying to make sure our firm is included where our competitors are (quarles & brady, Michael Best, Von Briessen, Axley) so unless you plan on deleting all the law firms, it is highly frustrating to be marked for speedy deletion with no other explanation.

Our firm name has changed[edit]

Hello Wikipedia,

DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. has officially changed it's name to DeWitt LLP - we are wondering how we can change our company name on the heading of the Wikipedia entry.

Please let me know - mmf@dewittllp.com
