Hello. If you want content about "defunding the police" to be included, you gotta make sure that the source talks about the subject matter of this article, otherwise it is of no use. Nothing about "defunding the police" is present in that source. Just make sure to keep this in mind whenever you want to contribute to an article. I think this is relevant and notable to add to this article, because this politician did a complete reversal of her own position after she was assaulted.
