Notability

[edit]

I have recreated this article that as recently prodded and believe the subject meets our notability requirements. It may meet the General Notability Guidelines. Blabbermouth.net appears to be RS. allmusic appears to be a reliable source with the exception of determining genres from my understanding of the archived RS noticeboard discussions. There is some other coverage included. Also, I could not figure out how to work it in but the websites of Decibel and Sick Drummer have some mention. I made this decision primarily based on Wikipedia:Notability (music)'s:

  • "Has received non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country" (their national tour in 1991 received some coverage and portions can be seen in newspapers behind paywalls on Google News Archive searches.
  • "Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable)."
  • "Is an ensemble which contains two or more independently notable musicians, or is a musician who has been a member of two or more independently notable ensembles." (Marquez was recently prodded but it could be argued that he has played in two notable groups)
