Music Video Synopsis[edit]

The current synopsis says that the video shows a widow. The source that is cited says "It opens with impressionistic, slow-motion shots of the band bathed in blue light before focusing in on a woman in the audience who, who soon learn [sic], has lost a military spouse."

This is the article that is cited http://www.mtv.com/news/1711777/imagine-dragons-demons-video/

Firstly, anyone who watches the video will see that at 0:44 there is a portrait of an older man with presumably his wife, and that at 0:47 the grieving young lady is holding a picture of herself situated between the aforementioned older man and his wife, with the young lady's hand partially obscuring the face of the wife (presumably the young lady's mother) - therefore effectively emphasizing that the body in the casket is of the older man (presumably the young lady's father). There is no flag on the casket, the man is not in uniform, et cetera, and so clearly there is no indication that this scene has anything to do with the military, the young lady's spouse, or the young lady's military spouse as suggested by Gil Kaufman, the author of the cited article - the young lady lost her father, or possibly both her parents, since her mother is missing from the scene.

Secondly, Gil Kaufmam the author of the source clearly cannot even write an article free of linguistic errors (hence the [sic] in my quote), yet his article with a blatantly incorrect synopsis is cited?

Common sense needs to be used here. A synopsis written by someone (Kaufman) who possibly has not even watched the video should not be cited.
