This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Derek is a noted musician within the indie rock community and is transitioning into music production of some other notable artists.

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because I know of Derek and his work with 60 Foot Sammy. They were a big deal back in the day in Dallas and then Europe when they recorded with John Ravenhall.

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is factually accurate and relevant. Derek Hames is a young producer on the move and it's important to assure this accomplishments are noted. — Sheltone60 (talk) 15:09, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
