"Ten lessons to live by", "due to her impeccable morality and her powers of concentration" and similar phrases are not appropriate. This article needs an extensive rewrite. Toccata quarta (talk) 04:35, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to be bold and revamp this article, taking out all the nonencyclopedic stuff. - Metalello talk 23:57, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"According to scholars, the Visuddhimagga is one of the extremely rare texts within the enormous literatures of various forms of Jainism, Buddhism, and Hinduism to give explicit details about how spiritual masters were thought to actually manifest supernormal abilities." I find this sentence confusing. The visuddhimaga is not a rare text, and I don't think it is considered esoteric in particular. It is a manual of theravada practice. I have not changed it. --Asaf Federman (talk) 15:59, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
