Divine brotherhood
[edit]Can divine filiation imply a kind of divine brotherhood ? For instance, under this particular theology, since God is Trinity, the Father remains Father while the divine Son becomes a kind of brother, while the Spirit unites in universal love and brotherhood. 69.157.229.14 (talk) 02:04, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Catholic POV
[edit]All the sources and images for this article are Roman Catholic in nature—it seems like an article written for Catholics by Catholics—but it surely this issue can be approached from various (e.g,, Orthodox, Evangelical, Anglican, and even non-Christian neopagan) theological perspectives. 98.91.22.148 (talk) 22:00, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- And the section "Judaism's view of Divine filiation"? is that Catholic? I have not actually checked this article in detail, but feel free to add other sources. Thanks. History2007 (talk) 22:33, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
Theologians on divine filiation???
[edit]What does this section have to do with being a "Child of God"? --ER 20:50, 24 March 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edwinramos2 (talk • contribs)
This article could be combined with People of God. Child of God, people of God, requires the same process. Becoming part of Gods Kingdom, heirs of his throne, requires complete faith and dedication to God. --ER 21:06, 24 March 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edwinramos2 (talk • contribs)
