Changing the word advocate and mentioning the art academies[edit]

Hi @ST47: @Diannaa: @KCVelaga: In the section "Artworks", it has been mentioned that "Manna is one of the first artists from India to advocate conceptual photography". I understand advocate is a synonym of the word exponent. According to the dictionary: "Advocate" also means a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy. And "Practicing" means the actual application or use of an idea, belief, or method, as opposed to theories relating to it. As far as I understand, Manna's practice is in conceptual photography. He does not advocate it rather uses it to put forward his thoughts and ideas, therefore, an alternative way of writing this sentence could be - "He is the first one to explore the possibilities of conceptual photography in the country" or "He is a pioneer amongst conceptual photographers in India" without attracting the copyright violations.

@Diannaa: @KCVelaga: Comparing different versions of this article- in version 20:06, 6 October 2019‎ edited by me it was mentioned "Lalit Kala Akademi, National Academy of Art, Ministry of Culture, Government of India", and so on; but in the version and 17:46, 8 October 2019‎ , it was changed to "Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi, an art academy run by Chandigarh Administration; Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi, an art academy run by the Government of Punjab. Academies of art (India) mentioned in this article are autonomous bodies established by the Governments of the respective states. In the articles in these links, it is clear that these bodies are established by the respective governments of either state, Union territory or the country.

My reference point was an article on Wikipedia on internationally acclaimed personality and former chairman of Lalit Kala Akademi (National Academy of Art), New Delhi (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashok_Vajpeyi). However, my humble submission is that, of course, I am a newcomer to Wikipedia, and if I am not able to follow the policy matters as per Wikipedia guidelines, I would like to learn and be corrected.
