I've de-fluffed it a bit. I'll be watching to see if the Dixon_Ticonderoga PR people make any changes. stib (talk) 01:47, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Did you get here via the DVD link as well? Why it's mentioned on that page I'll never quite understand... Themania 06:33, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

-Yeah, I did.

I seriously want to know why the main picture is the pencil being compared to a CD. That's.... retarded. Pencils are standard sizes, so there is no reason to do that... Andrewtheart 20:38, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk of deletion

[edit]

This is a well-known American company and the article contains (IMO interesting) information about both the company's origin and leadership. There should be no more talk about deleting it. --House of Scandal 06:05, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography?

[edit]

I'm assuming that the Dixon Ticonderoga makes notable appearances in these movies, otherwise I don't think this article needs a "filmography" section and I suggest it be deleted.

It the section is retained, I suggest someone explain to readers that the pencil appears in these movies (not just any pencil, but the one featured in this article) because, while this may seem obvious to some, I am left wondering if the filmography is not a mistake leftover from someone's use of another, unrelated article as a template for creating this one. --Skb8721 (talk) 19:18, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My best guess is that the section was added as a joke. I've removed it. —David Levy 04:15, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

End of US Production

[edit]

Whilst it is worth noting that they are now made in Mexico and China rather than the US, isn't the bit about them still costing the same just a political dig and therefore not stricty encyclopeadic? Swindon LS12 (talk) 23:22, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It might be nice to add the various cultural references that the pencil has generated, should there be sufficient numbers of them. Awr2727 (talk) 02:42, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
