I wrote the Donald Pike article because he was notable as a lawyer, and then a judge, who attended law school without ever having gone to high school or college (the rules have since changed).AuthorAuthor (talk) 23:18, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Improving article

I am improving this article. As stated above, when the article was written, Donald Pike is noteworthy because he became a judge after dropping out of high school at age 14 and without ever having gone to college (he took an equivalency exam), then passed the Bar exam, the first try, and became a family court judge in Los Angeles Superior Court and died a multimillionaire. He was featured several times in the Los Angeles Daly Journal, the legal newspaper of record in Los Angeles County.
