Sources

Would you mind quoting in the guidelines where it says that sources can't all come from the one site? These are simply for use from episode summaries, so of course they're gonna have come from the same site! These are simply to provide a source to say that these events happened to this character, otherwise if you don't have it then the article will be labelled as having no references, like many other Neighbours character articles are. It is also a handy way of providing episode numbers for certain events for the reader. And no, the official site doesn't have episode guides they only provide a short summary of each episode so it wouldn't be as effective. Swanny92 (talk) 21:10, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

There are guidelines about spam and to a degree that's what this is (mass linking to a single third party source which has no official status nor is an accredited source like imdb.com or TV.com). If it's in the interest of providing genuine sources then use the official site rather than pushing a third party one (Neighbours.com.au and Neighbours.com have a decent back log of episodes or you could use TV.com / imdb.com). 81.102.239.232 (talk) 21:15, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
On the perfectblend link. I get that it is one of the core Neighbours fans sites (alongside NeighboursFans.com/NeighboursEpisodes.com) but the page doesn't even have content on it so you'd be hard pushed to argue what it adds to the article 81.102.239.232 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 21:17, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Shouldn't spam count as consistently adding random sites to the external links section? Rather than references, which are an important part of Wikipedia? As far as I know there are no guidelines that say all or most of the sources from an article can't be from the same site. Anything said in wp:spam certainly doesn't relate to this situation as this article isn't intending to promote the episode summaries, it is simply using them as a source, which as far as I know is allowed. The reason why I'm not using the official site is that the episode summaries give the full details of each episode which is good for a source for the storylines of this character. If you're going to try and defend yourself then can you actually quote where it says that I can't use this site? Rather than just say "there are guidelines about spam", which doesn't help because I haven't found anything wrong with what I'm doing. As you have not really given any valid reason to not have the links there, I'm putting the article back to the way it was, and don't revert it unless you can actually specifically quote where it says that having those references isn't allowed. The references act as external links (just because links are added as references doesn't make it any less spammy). There are plenty of fan sites which offer episode summaries (Ramsay-Street.co.uk would be one of the originals for example). Why should NeighboursEpisodes.com be plastered over every single wikipedia page. It is also a fan site so there can be no guarantee of authority. The article is also based around a fictional context so citing every other sentance isn't really needed (you've pointed out that none of the other character bios have references plastered all over them). 81.102.239.232 (talk) 23:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

OK, it has been confirmed by Neighbours that this character will not be returning to Neighbours anytime soon. Despite this some people are still posting unreferenced rumours to say the contrary. I've now included a referenced link in this article to say that she is not returning, can we please stop posting the unreferenced rumours now? Or it may be that this article is reported to Wikipedia to see if we can get some limitation placed on the article over who can and can't edit it. --5 albert square (talk) 20:54, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Page updates

OK, is there any updates for this page?

I mean, for example, what happened with Donna's case against Saffron? I know that Donna reported Saffron I think to the Police for assaulting her but what happened after that? Did the case go ahead? Was it dropped?

Also, any updates on her finding her father?

Sticking update tag on meantime --5 albert square (talk) 06:56, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
