Robert Henri[edit]

It is undeniably true that Robert Henri visited Dooagh, and that he bought Corrymore House, but the text in this article, which is entirely based on one source from 1998, is a bit peculiar. It talks about 'a masterpiece' called 'Himself and Herself', showing that the author doesn't know these are actually two paintings[1], 'Himself' and 'Herself', instead of one. The author says the painting(s) is a master-piece and reproductions are in big demand in America, although a Google-search does not support this popularity. The author says Robert Henri won the 'coveted' Beck Gold Medal Award for this painting(s). A search for the award of this name only reveals an article in the New York Times in 1914[2], so what does coveted mean here?
I do appreciate Robert Henri's paintings but shouldn't this text be rewritten? Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 16:32, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the part about the so called masterpiece. Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 15:03, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
