Jazz[edit]

This seems like a very common pattern in Jazz (Killer Joe is the first to come to mind), especially the modal style from the 60's. Or am I not getting the concept? --Dan 02:24, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

It appears to be a near universal pattern. I wouldn't know about jazz and modal jazz specifically. Hyacinth 03:39, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
