Naive?[edit]

This comes across as naive - "a village grew by the mills, as more mill-workers came to the area. There were about 70 houses in the village which bore the unusual name of the Model Village and was seen as a social experiment at the time."

They housed 70 families, so what was unusual about the name?78.16.114.247 (talk) 12:41, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Copypasta[edit]

The following discussion is closed and will soon be archived.

Unfortunately it seems that a chunk of content (in particular in the history sections) is verbatim copy/pasted from other sources. (In several cases quite obviously). Unless someone else has an opportunity to address this in the meantime, I will likely take a fairly blunt editing instrument to these policy issues. As I did not hear back on the above, I have attempted to address these issues myself. In honesty I have not been as aggressive as I might have been. But I think the core issues are addressed. Guliolopez (talk) 11:15, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
