[edit]

I am starting this article about motoring in Singapore because I didn't see a similar article in Wikipedia. Note that it is only an outline now but I plan to fill in the outline and add more information that isn't in the outline yet. Therefore, consider NOT placing this article for deletion but allow it to grow.VK35 04:05, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inline citations

[edit]

I do see a little bit of polishing of the inline citations section. For example, if it is a web article, use {{cite web}}, or if is a news article then use {{cite news}}. There should be details about the source in the references section, not just the URL. Hope somebody will find time to do all these details. Please do not leave a space between the last sentence and the reference. This article needs a bit of polishing before it looks good, I can help to polish the article up. Use of Language

[edit]

I see this article too "Singaporish". Needs improvement on the use of tone and language in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.74.162.201 (talk) 17:45, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

Merger proposal

[edit]

I believe that Road transport in Singapore is essentially the same as this article and is otherwise discusses the history of roads in Singapore. The topics should otherwise be covered by Transport in Singapore. --TheTallOne 20:17, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also believe that Road transport in Singapore is the same as this article. The topics should otherwise be covered by Transport in Singapore. The article is also very, very long, and probably does not need to be. Jamesmassola (talk) 13:28, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing points

[edit]

The license classes 2, 2A and 2B are not explained, neither are the limitations on motorcycle riding for foreign visitors as to different cc-classes. The (easy) procedure to enter co-riders into the insurance contract is not described either. 58.61.213.129 (talk) 08:54, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't you people answer one simple question pertaining to Driving in Singapore, which is, how much does it cost practically to own and drive a car in Singapore? Is it $10K per year at least? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.237.82 (talk) 20:58, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
