Renaming article

[edit]

Based on sources from this section of this article (link: [1]), the EMU-250/260 seems to be named the KTX-Eum (KTX-이음). Mtattrain (talk) 07:07, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unless there's reliable news sources to support the claims else it's invalid. Namu Wiki is not unreliable news sources, most of their content are not cited and this include the particular section you're mentioning. Paper9oll | Talk:(Paper9oll) 07:22, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was referring to in-line sources within the article, such as a link to info.Korail [2] and KIPRIS [3]. I can't open either for some reason, but I'm sure if someone can see what is inside the pages, they can be reliable. Mtattrain (talk) 16:43, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The second source (KIPRIS) is useable but we have wait till the trademark application is approved before we can starting moving/renaming the page. The KIPRIS is trademark application page, currently it's not yet approved. Paper9oll | Talk:(Paper9oll) 16:49, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for clarifying that. At least there were reliable sources in the Namu article. Mtattrain (talk) 19:18, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Paper9oll: has the trademark application been approved yet? For some reason I cannot open it on my end so I can't check if it has or now. Mtattrain (talk) 05:28, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Mtattrain: Apprarently nope, the status is still the same. However, I found one article http://www.dailysmart.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=35939 confirming the name and the article also stated the patent registration takes around 1 year to complete hence I think we can just go ahead and move the page since Korean Wikipedia already rename their article. – Paper9oll | Talk:Paper9oll 05:35, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Here is another article by Hyundai Rotem https://blog.hyundai-rotem.co.kr/522
Sounds good, if even Hyundai Rotem themselves are calling the article so then guess it's fine to move the article. Mtattrain (talk) 06:12, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
