This article is copied from the Simple English Wikipedia, as I thought it would be useful to have an article about Earl Stevick on the main Wikipedia. My apologies if it turns out to be copyright; I thought anything on any Wikipedia was public property. Kanjuzi (talk) 18:13, 6 January 2016 (UTC) - I think it is likely that kidzsearch has taken the material from Wikipedia, not the other way round. Kanjuzi (talk) 18:24, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Obviously it would be better if the main Wikipedia article contained material different from the Simple English one, though the main facts of Stevick's life (birthplace, education, books, death etc.) will obviously be the same in both articles. If this article is deleted I will see if I can create another expressed in a different way. But it seems right that there should be an article on the main Wikipedia, since Stevick was a notable linguist and author. At present if you type his name in the search box almost nothing comes up.
