INCORRECT PHOTOGRAPH - THIS IS NOT EAS COUL AULIN WATERFALL[edit]

As the OP pointed out, you have the wrong photograph to illustrate this article. The incorrect waterfall you have pictured is the one on the opposite side of the glen that can be seen from near the top of the Eas Coul Aulin (Eas a Chuall Aluinn) waterfall. I am English, so I may be wrong, but I understand that the Gaelic 'Eas a Chuall Aluinn' translates into English simply as 'the splendid waterfall of Coul', i.e. Glencoul. So I think it is only fitting and proper that you feature this correct 'splendid' waterfall, in your picture to illustrate this article, and not its 'inferior' neighbouring waterfall on the other side of the glen. The spectacular Eas Coul Aulin waterfall is pictured in a previous 1992 Jarrold publication of 'The Scottish Highlands'. Picture credits are stated for many of the photos in this publication, but the photographer of the Eas Coul Aulin photo on p57 (bottom) is not referenced and remains anonymous. I can e-mail a scan of the photo from this publication to the team responsible for the maintenance of this 'Wiki' article if desired. Scans available at 72DPI, 150DPI, and 300DPI. --RobbyBox1 (talk) 10:02, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Useful comment, thanks. The page http://www.barbersasa.co.uk/scotland/assynt/eca_fall.htm shows a picture of Eas a Chual Aluinn, and a second picture of "The Eas-an-t-Strutha Ghil Fall". The latter is clearly the same as the one currently on the page here, and the text of the page confirms what you say above. I'll remove the image from this page, for the time being.
Even if the photograph in the book you mention is anonymous, I'm not sure that means we should use it. It sounds most likely that it would still be under copyright. Ideally we should get a free image if possible. --David Edgar (talk) 20:32, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
