Welcome to Wikipedia - not.

I spent a reasonable amount of effort describing the Gameplay of Echochrome as concisely as I possibly could only to have it reverted within less than a minute by Masem, saying nothing more than it was "too detailed". However, having seen the article rated as a stub, I searched for other video games entries (see NFS, for instance) to detemine a suitable level of detail.

In fact, given the nature of Wikipedia, it would seem that "too detailed" should never be a problem unless the information is poorly structured or too vague. This is not the Encyclopedia Britannica, after all: we don't have to fit it into a predefined space.

If anyone feels the information is too detailed, please feel free to edit it down to make it more concise. Anyone who thinks the gameplay section should stay at the original two sentence summary should justify that view here, and probably spend sometime visiting the rest of the video games entries applying the same criteria. Good luck with that.

The details of how the game is played (exact descriptions of the 5 modes and how they work) is too excessive - WP is not a game guide. We can briefly mention that there are modes that occur, but listing out how each works is not appropriate. --MASEM 01:17, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your constructive criticism. I will make changes - please let me know if it is better

African version

[edit]

The PAL version of the PSP game says on the back cover that it is licensed for sale in Europe, The Middle East, Africa and Oceania. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.149.234.180 (talk) 13:08, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

EchoChrome clones

[edit]

It should perhaps be noted somewhere that from the perspective of game mechanics the ustwo game "Monument Valley" is a clone: http://www.monumentvalleygame.com/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.62.247.208 (talk) 21:06, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Echochrome. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
