Name of article.[edit]

Renaming the article might be premature as it at present is still Edginswell although there is a possibilty there could be a competition to name the station; Torquay Riviera Way is one I have heard, or something that incorporates the hospital or The Willows shopping or even Torquay United if they relocate nearby. Rail (magazine) cite clearly states it will be named Torquay Gateway. Seeshorna (talk) 05:37, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rail Magazine are not the official recognees of the name of the proposed station. After the magazine published the information, there has been doubts raised as to the correctness of that. More research into the matter is needed before the Wikipedia article is fully clarified.

Other Torbay Council documents refer to both "a new railway station in the Torquay Gateway" and the "station at Edginswell". Geof Sheppard (talk) 16:21, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
