Significance

The average white person attends a school which is more racially diverse than the population as a whole. How exactly is this noteworthy? Moreover, how is it possible for both this to be the case, and for minorities to be segregated so heavily? There are many flaws flaws this article, and so I will be revising it further than I have today (mopping up grammar and informal tone). For instance, the statement "a 2012 UCLA study showed that Indiana had the sixth most segregated classrooms in America" should be followed with a citation *directly linking* to the study, not a USA Today snippet.
