First-person "We"[edit]

The template on this article indicates that the first-person "we" is used inappropriately. However, upon inspection, all instances of this are contained within quotes. Should this template be removed, or does this warrant further discussion? StewFor2Dollars (talk) 01:04, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I also checked and they are indeed all in quotations so I've removed the template. — LittleDwangs (talk) 02:29, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ibsen's Ghosts[edit]

Did Aveling influence Ibsen's Ghosts? The play involves genetics and advocates for social reform. The play was premiered at the Aurora Turner Hall in Chicago, because Ibsen could not find a venue in Scandinavia that would stage it. The protagonist's surname, Alving, seems to be a possible nod to Aveling. Softlavender (talk) 05:23, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
