[edit]This should not be deleted, Eggs was a major cult favorite in indie-pop circles and was influence. It needs to be noted that they were an indie-rock band and not some sort of Top 40 hitmakers. They did national U.S. tours (see: http://eggseggseggs.com/history.html) as well as opening for prominent and critically acclaimed bands such as Yo La Tengo and The Wedding Present. (meets one requirement for not being speedily deleted.) Also they were on TeenBeat Records which was a major Indie rock label (see wikipedia entry). (another reason not to be speedily deleted.) I know this is poorly written and edited, but I am a student and it is late and I should be studying and I am sorry, but don't delete Eggs!
Also, they shared a member with Unrest, a band that was amoung two or three founders of the American indie-pop movement, which is another reason this doesn't qualify for speedy deletion...
Also, see their http://www.allmusic.com entry.
