Rename article from "Ekaterine" to "Eka"?

[edit]

Since (AFAIK) she is universally known by the diminutive Eka (ეკა), it seems to me that the article should be entitled "Eka Tkeshelashvili" — with her full formal name (Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili) serving as a redirect — rather than the other way around. In case it makes a difference, the article's Georgian counterpart is entitled "ეკა ტყეშელაშვილი" (not "ეკატერინე ტყეშელაშვილი"). Comments? Richwales (talk) 17:38, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Davit Tkeshelashvili

[edit]

Is Davit Tkeshelashvili (Georgia's current State Minister for Regional Issues) related to Eka? Richwales (talk) 18:01, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, he is not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.43.242.199 (talk) 09:42, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
