Improving this Article
[edit]Hello, I've created this Article for the band Elder and I've managed to find some references to add into this article about the band. Unfortunately a lot of them come from the Metal Archives website witch seems to be one of the only (popular) websites to hold any info about them, with the exception of YouTube which contains visual and auditory references which aren't much use here.
I was wondering if someone could look over this article and clear up any places where I've made mistakes. It might also be a good idea to create a Table in the top right corner of the article which seems to be consistently used throughout Wikipedia.
I tried to add references about the songs and album labels however the referencing wasn't working properly for me, but then again, I'm very new to creating and editing on Wikipedia. Information about track listing and record labels is all on the Metal Archives website that I've put in a link below the article. It might be appropriate to add them in as a reference to the discography.
I would also like to point out that some of the stuff that I've added regarding the bands musical style is opinionated, (but not biased), however I can find no official reference to the bands influential origins. Being a fan of their style and genre of music, I've referenced some bands that they're similar to (like Electric Wizard) and I've also added information describing the style and genre of the music on each of their albums in the Discography section and main section of the article.
I appreciate everyone's help and I hope the article is okay and of good enough standards for Wikipedia. Thank you kindly for your help! FranktheTank (talk) 01:54, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Improvements
[edit]I've added an infobox and cleared up the formatting a little. But still if any improvements are needed, please say. :) FranktheTank (talk) 03:01, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Orphan
[edit]I have added a link to the Elder suggestions page in reference to the band. I have also added their link to the MeteorCity Records article and the Roadburn Festival article.
I don't think this page classifies as an orphan page anymore, but thank you for your feedback Sourov0000 :)
