Cleanup needed?
[edit]Re: recent edits with this comment
- !--seems clear primary, we don't list partial matches - should it redirect to only entry?
This page also refers to women who have been called "Queen Eleonora" or "Queen Eleanor" in some literature and learned conversations, though their names are actually Ulrica Eleanor, Hedwig Eleanor, etc. The guideline says we should not list partial matches "where there is no significant risk of confusion". There is, in this case, as in the cases of a few other similar disambiguation pages I have created or updated so as to do my best in helping people find things, even where there is a "significant risk of confusion".SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:16, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- My reason for tagging was: seems clear primary, we don't list partial matches - should it redirect to only entry? I thought redirect or a dab at Eleanor of Sweden (disambiguation), with the primary redirecting to the only entry, which would have a hatnote to the dab, as a possible idea, or rather than links to the category, listing the individuals who may be referred to as 'Eleanor of Sweden', or are there a huge number of them? Anyway, as it's an unusual dab, I wanted someone who edits them really regularly to have a look over it. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 17:36, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

- Acting as in many other examples and as per the previous discussion in 2011, I improved this considerably, yet the clean-up tag was readded anyway, but without a word here, as if there had been no improvement. Please explain that! Reverting till then. These queens were called "Eleonora", "Leonora", "Lenore" etc. as a prefered given name at times also. So why not inform as well as we can and avoid confusion? Isn't that wad dab pages are for? --SergeWoodzing (talk) 18:12, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
