[edit]This page is looking good! There have been no attempts to vandalize it or add unreferenced material as of yet. :) Let's keep it that way, please. --♪ ChrisBkoolio ... (Talk) 00:08, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
ENTER SHIKARI should be listed as the main contributor to this style, Not Attack Attack. Attack Attack formed in 2005 and stole material from several bands, including ( but not limited to ) We came as Romans. Enter Shikari formed in 1999 and still are going strong, have released more albums than Attack Attack and have received better reviews and more attention.
To ruin ChrisBkoolio previous comment a little bit, I added a 2nd Distinguish tag, because Trancecore (which links to this article) was an early name for the more Trance influenced Happy Hardcore in the later half of the 1990's, which later became Freeform Hardcore. There was also some Gabber that where trance-influnced like DJ Leviathan, but I believe they where never called Trancecore. Edit 1: Thanks to Mashaunix for updating my edit with the proper text. - Attack Attack was originally known as Ambiance and was a christcore band until they saw I See Stars play in their 2006 Ohio garage/house party/etc tour. I See Stars was THE FIRST to use autotune in metalcore. everyone just thinks Attack Attack! did it first because SCS released a year before 3D. I See Stars was also the first to change the sound from techno to dubstep, which influenced Palisades, probably the 2nd biggest electronicore band after Attack Attack! List of artists
[edit]ONLY referenced artists should be added to this list, followed by the reference that clearly shows that the band fuses post-hardcore or metalcore with electronic music. Preferably, the reference should specifically refer to the band as "Electronicore" Additions should also be put in alphabetical order, per format. Thank you, ♪ ChrisBkoolio ... Note
[edit]I removed the citations on the "specifically electronica" line, because "electronica" is an umbrella term, and the citations I removed do not make a distinction between electronica and electronic music. If anyone can find reliable information on the semantics of electronica from the perspective of dedicated Electronic Hardcore critics (and not another community-curated site), that would work. 74.67.16.190 (talk) 10:08, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
