"During a trip abroad in 1846–47, he was deeply touched by the suffering of the Irish peasantry. there's a photo of this guy in the PG book we could use for wikipedia. (Just quick note as I run through throwing in PG templates.. ;-) Womble 03:09, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
