It needs some explanation. I don't understand the terms used. Thank you.CountMacula (talk) 13:50, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Australian LNG exports to increase?

[edit]

At http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/oilprices/11283875/Bank-of-America-sees-50-oil-as-Opec-dies.html I read "Mrs Schels said the global market for (LNG) will “change drastically” in 2015, going into a “bear market” lasting years as a surge of supply from Australia compounds the global effects of the US gas saga." Presumably this will go along with an increase in Australian LNG production. Could someone in the know supply some details about this? Thanks.CountMacula (talk) 14:04, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Updating Key Statistics based on 2014 IEA Report for Australia

[edit]

Hi, Wikipedians! Planning on updating the data on the fuel section for imports, export, and consumption in Australia. And expand the content on the renewable generation. Any comments are welcome! Lucia.yates (talk) 17:08, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Future Energy Oversupply

[edit]

Renamed the "Possible future electricity oversupply" section to "Energy Supply" to reflect changes in the situation, and added the following sentences: In 2014, an oversupply of generation was expected to persist until 2024. However a report published in 2017 projected that, over the next two years, energy supply is expected to meet demands, with a risk of supply actually falling short at peak demand times.
