Possible Additions and Edits

[edit]

There is more available on Posner's biography that could be added. Specifically, the name of his dissertation, early career, duties at American University, and his training institutes. Also, the final link in the citations is no longer functioning.

A few ideas for improving an excellent article: In the "career in the United States" section, consider linking to the Solon J. Buck article on Wikipedia for more context and including his full name in the first sentence or two. Generally this section could use a little copy editing--there are some missing words and commas, nothing big. What year did Posner apply for citizenship? That would seem to be an important piece of information. Also years of appointments, even if in parentheses would be helpful. Last, given his foundational role in the field, a more complete listing of contributions/ publications would be helpful. Generally it is a very interesting article. --- — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ctgibson (talkcontribs) 14:00, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the ideas! I didn't link to Buck there because I did the first time appeared (which is earlier on the page). However, since it is in a new section I added a link. I also fixed up some of the grammar. I could not find the years for his appointments. Thank you! MordechaiWeissmann (talk) 22:16, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
