More Information on Erzulie

[edit]

I want to read more information on Erzulie Freda, are there any books or movies even documentaries on Erzulie, please help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.128.83.213 (talk) 01:57, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Erzulie did appear in the musical, "Once on This Island", we could add that. 71.186.181.143 (talk) 22:59, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any reason why Erzulie is categorized under "African"? She is Haitian - did she come from Africa? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.80.38.15 (talk) 19:27, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is Erzulie just one goddess, or the name of several Vodou goddesses? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Splashen (talkcontribs) 23:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In response to the previous question, Erzulie/Ezili is the name of a family of lwa, so it is the name of several lwa (like Ezili Freda or Ezili Danto). This family, I'd say, is Haitian first and foremost, with many influences, African voduns primary among them.Chiwara (talk) 17:32, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs to be rewritten, so that not only people with a doctorate in Voodoo can make any sense of it. --BjKa (talk) 17:40, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
