Rename ketene?
[edit]I recommend that we rename this article ketene. Yes, we'd need to deal with the fact that ketenes are a class of organic compounds. We deal with that problem often though. I have never ever heard anyone use the term ethenone until I encountered Wikipedia. The most important ketene by far is ketene itself also. --Smokefoot (talk) 16:36, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. I just checked the inbound links to "ketene", and virtually all of them mean the specific chemical. I checked the literature refs on those articles related to the inbound-link aspect, and they all use the term "ketene" as well. Conversely, there are very few inbounds to "ethenone". What would we call the functional-group article (presently here at "ketene") to make way for the specific-compound to be moved here? "Ketene (functional group)" or "Ketenes" maybe?
