A telegram post reports he died in Kursk, as reported by Mikhail Delyagin. Right now, the news is spreading via telegram, and I have no idea of the veracity of it. Please wait for confirmation. Harizotoh9 (talk) 18:37, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If the rumor lacks significant relevance or reliable sources, it is best to omit it. Even if the BBC ran a piece reporting on the rumor, it is still a rumor; should not be included in the biography of a living person on Wikipedia unless it has significant relevance. He's not dead - yet. The crew that were with him were certain he was dead, so left him, but a recovery team found him still alive & he's just been transported to Moscow for care 164.39.195.26 (talk) 10:25, 8 August 2024 (UTC).[reply]
That is what is being reported by Z Telegram channels. There's both video of the strike, as well as video of him being transported to hospital where he has severe burns and injuries. We will wait for a source like BBC Russia to comment on the case, as they're the best source of information. However, I don't know how to link directly to specific BBC Russia live posts, so I'm just linking to the specific page number. Harizotoh9 (talk) 14:06, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
