Is it worth adding information to this page on the successful campaign to bring zone 6 to Ewell West (and Ewell East) station. Currently there is only one sentence about it becoming a zone 6 station but doesn't reflect the campaigning that went into it. I consider it to be a significant event locally, having at the time almost reduced the price of travel in half and since 2007 the estimated station usage has increased by 25% where as Epsom Station has seen little growth and Worcester Park Station has seen a reduction.
I would have added the information to the page but as a supporter of the Residents' Association I undoubtedly have a conflict of interest in adding the information, particularly close to the upcoming elections in May and would ask that an unbiased wikipedia editor would consider adding the information. As a newbie, I'm not sure it meets the wikipedia threshold, although the inclusion of an ongoing campaign on the Epsom Station page would suggest it is, however I would like to hear any feedback.
