[edit]

There is a contradiction between this article and the article on the United Federation of Planets. The former states the location of the Federation Council is Paris France while the latter states it is San Francisco, California. Cagnol 15:49, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Paris is non-canonical (from the Pocket Books novel series). The confusion came from the President (executive branch) being in Paris for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and DS9. However, it is apparent that the Council (legislative branch) was always intended to be in San Francisco. And this was made clear in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, VOY, and ENT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.188.54.94 (talkcontribs)

Redirect

[edit]

I redirected this content to the Federation article. The council is a minscule part of the franchise, and even of how the Federation is depicted; it is better covered within the broader Federation article. --EEMIV (talk) 13:04, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
