XKCD Popular Ref.[edit]

I believe that one was not to add XKCD references to an article unless it has stirred some event to occur, which, in this case, does not appear so to me. TomChunata (talk) 20:56, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK. But there are so many geek things getting into popular conversation only due to xkcd references. I am sure hits for Ferdinand von Lindemann saw a new high as result of xkcd coverage as the name is otherwise known only in mathematically oriented programmers' circle. Shouldn't the comic qualify as addition to Mr. Lindemann's pop reference whether or not it has caused a recent 'event'? Poojac20 (talk) 06:36, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
