Some suggestions
[edit]This article is really atrociously written. The tone of certain parts is far too sarcastic for an encyclopaedia and some parts are rather unclear. I am altering some parts to make the tone better and request that someone tidy up who Angus Davidson is. He is described as 'musical instrument' which is fairly meaningless. Hydraton31 11:38, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Having just edited the page I deleted the section on the Duke of Edinburgh's award 'never being finished' since this would require explanation for which I have no sources. Furthermore, I attempted to clear up the sections on extra-curricular and achievments though I am unsure as to how successful I have been. The remark about the speed of PPP constructions has been removed for bias (despite the fact that it probably is true, no sources were mentioned). 11:46, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Just removed the word beauiful to describe a teacher under WP:VAIN. Hydraton31 21:10, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Removed second sentence of the Achievements section under WP:VAIN and NPOV. Also removed part of the sentence on Extra-Curricular Activities on the Duke of Edinburgh's award since, in itself, it makes no sense. If people with more information on this problem with the DofE award in this school wish to contribute information about it to this article then the problem should be explained in some detail so that it makes sense to people without specialist knowledge of this school. If people want to make a spoof article on this school they should go here. Here you can put whatever sarcasm you want and everyone will laugh with you. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia with rules for editing and is not here to serve as a place for jokes so if you want to make a joke, go to the Uncyclopedia where your humour will be welcomed.
Assess
[edit]Just a stub as hardly any meaningful content. The lists of departments and names of members of staff don't belong in an encylopedia article. Dahliarose 19:51, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Likely Vandalism
[edit]The last entry in the "In The News" section is likely vandalism. If an admin were to remove it I think that would be good. MadScot (talk) 23:19, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
[edit]Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
