As I understand it, by allowing this derivation of my work to be released under the GFDL, I do not lose the right to release my original work or other derivations forked from it, under my original copyright and under whatever licenses I choose. As the page you referred to puts it:

" retain copyright to your materials. You can later republish and relicense them in any way you like. However, you can never retract the GFDL license for the versions you placed here: that material will remain under GFDL forever."

If this understanding is correct then I have no objection to licensing the derivation found at of my copyrighted work under the GFDL.
