Some included images are missing. Have they been deleted? --Ikar.us 10:42, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
- I stated under the photos that they are over 60 years of age and distributed over the Internet, yet they still deleted them !! Now they posted a warning the bottom pics are slated to be deleted. I think these guys need to get a life !!
Ive added new reference to book about Vienna flak towers and link to further information.
- I added a few breaks so the images don't overlap. 75.68.199.101 01:18, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
How useful were the towers?
[edit]I have always been fascinated with the concept of the towers since I first read about them years ago. Most histories referred to them but did not describe them still less really talk about how they operated and the who manned them.
This article answers a lot of questions but there are many unanswered ones such as who conceived of the idea and who designed them, what was aim strategically and tactically, and did they fulfill these aims? Albatross2147 (talk) 14:21, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Ideal concept for a new WTC in NY :D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.137.120.35 (talk) 20:55, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- FYI, the National Geographic show "Hitler's Secret Bunkers" delves into the armament and effectiveness of the towers. They cite figures on rates of fire and such, but not on specific Allied casualties inflicted (they say that Allied bombing sorties over the city center suffered 'devastating' losses, but I am sure it is difficult to determine the exact share of the losses for which the towers were directly responsible). - 14:52, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. I shall keep a look out for this in our local schedules.Albatross2147 (talk) 01:13, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Towers in Vienna
[edit]In the article it is stated that there where 3 (additional) towers planned in Vienna, as well as three already built towers. Do I understand that correctly? Or does the statement in the Section about Vienna mean that those three towers where planned for another spot? Please clarify. -- Uhu01 (talk) 19:34, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]What is the purpose of the external projecting beams and framework? This is not explained. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.86.117.208 (talk) 15:27, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
