Entry before/after hours?
[edit]Anybody know if you can enter the castle, keep, towers before opening time? CJ DUB 01:01, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- No access to the keep is through the main castle, across a gantry bridge. Gfours 12:07, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
General Information
[edit]I was recently in Flint Castle (again); and had a fantastic chat with an elderly chap who used to live in Flint and was taking his Grand Kids there from Cumbria. He said that there was a tunnel that led from the Castle towards the town, this tunnel was uncovered s good few years ago whilst repairs where underway on the sewers down the main street (approx 600m+ from the castle). Can anyone verify this claim and add it to article? Gfours (talk) 10:41, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Original architect
[edit]The castle was designed by Richard L’Engenour or Richard of Chester and not Master James as he did not arrive in England until April of 1278 a full building season had taken place by then. Vicky Perfect —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.162.148.174 (talk) 08:42, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Recent castle problems.
[edit]This article is about the history of the castle not the ongoing social problems of Flint
Information that problems at the castle have occurred is fine, but the POV on the causes is best left out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.42.253.187 (talk) 14:11, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
