ending theme[edit]

is it just me, or was the ending theme used in an earlier (95-ish) forensics show called "medical detectives"? because it sure sounds like it, and the show seems to have the same sort of style to it as well. Forensic Files = Medical Detectives[edit]

You're confusing 2 different shows. The show that Discovery started was called "The New Detectives: Case Studies In Forensic Science". Fair use rationale for Image:ForensicFilesTitleCard.jpg[edit]

Image:ForensicFilesTitleCard.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. I'd like to upload a new image for this show (complete w/ Fair Use rationale). The current image references "CourtTV", a network that has not existed for a few years now. The image I'd like to upload is the more commonly used 'title card' type used on Facebook pages, fanpages, and at one point their own website. "Weird Science"[edit]

I am not sure that this title is really appropriate or clear given the information contained in the section. The title isn't explained or mentioned in the section. I think it should be renamed to better describe the overall purpose or mission of the show, which is what the section seems to be about.Steve Marethyu (talk) 02:38, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A new episode out of thin air?[edit]

FIOS has re-broadcast "See No Evil" on 11/26/2016 and previously on 3/11/2016. This episode tells the case of serial "eyeball killer" Charles Albright : [[1]] Original air date is listed in FIOS program guide as 3/5/2016. The broadcast carries the in-broadcast FF watermark (lower right corner) Peter Thomas is not the narrator although listed as such (as "Cast") From time-to-time other "new episodes" seem to pop up. Netflix showings[edit]

anyone have any info on the current state of the series on Netflix, i think it needs adding to the article that they are on their but also a mention should be given to the strange way they are broadcast

the episodes are not in series order but are organised into 9 collections with episodes from each series mixed up with seemingly no particular rhyme, reason or ordering that i can see, .

..they dont even follow the same standard as the collection DVDs as each collection has at between 38 and 48 episodes in them (the DVDs only have 12)

nor does each collection represent a particular season because of not only the mixed up nature but also the fact that many seasons of Forensic Files rarely get above 20 episodes (only 3 seasons reach over this with 2 going over 40)

a small example of this is as follows

Collection 1 Episode 12: (Sharper Image) is actually Season 12 Episode 1 C1/E13 (Wheel of Misfortune) = S12/E4 C1/E14 (The Day the Music Died) = S12/E7

and it gets worse than this with Episode 1 of collection 12 being from season 7

any info here is appreciated
