Untitled[edit]

I found this article following a link from a list of ghost towns in Florida. I grew up about two miles from the supposed site of Fort King. It is right in the middle of several neighborhoods, and clearly visible from the road. Obviously not a ghost town. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.129.78.106 (talkcontribs) 01:42, February 20, 2007.

In that sense, yes, b/c it got incorporated into the Ocala city limits. But the fort doesn't exist anymore, so in that way I think it qualifies. I live in the area too, and have driven up and down Fort King Street for decades, which is why I wrote the article in the first place. --Ebyabe 13:18, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
