Things that need to be done

I cleaned this up a little bit but there is clearly lots of work still to be done. A few points:

Need to establish whether he died in 1992 or 1998 - the Defence Journal article provided in the refs gives an exact date in 1998 and is also an obituary so seems more reliable, but further verification needed. Have left as is for now.

People Mag article - found this, a bit flowery and romantic, but at least is a hardcopy published source for some of the life facts. Can be used for inlines. Feel free to do or may come back and do myself when have time.
