Thank you for starting this article. If you have not, please check out WP:Notability, WP:Verifiable and WP:Style to help better edit this and future articles.

The text you keep adding (and my notes in bold on why I've deleted it). The town is very small already covered in intro; it has only three traffic lights non-notable. Bears are a problem and have raided several camp sites in the area unverified, likely transient information--unencyclopedic. The town also has a problem with animals called "phishers" by the local population (Christina Walt, Frankford Ontario) is this a citation? These aggressive animals have killed local pets including medium sized dogs. Though it cannot be confirmed, this animal is most likely the Wolverine. speculative local news doesn't really belong in an encyclopedia That's why I've previously deleted these statements... -- Scientizzle 23:26, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just the geographic location? The fact that it only had 3 traffic lights gives a feel for how small the towm is. If you look up Brampton, you will read that "all roads lead to Brampton" why don't you edit that? Unverified? I know on personal knowlege that it is a problem. Lots of these articles have unverfied info, because it is next to impossible to verify a bear problem, you could lood up the number for the Frankfor PD? GET A LIFE.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Adaspe (talkcontribs) .

Wow. I don't understand why you're getting upset here. You certainly don't need to attack me. (Read Don't be a dick.) It's not that I don't believe you that there are bears in Frankford and that they are a nuisance at local campsites, but why must that be in an encyclopedia entry? Seriously, treat this as if it were an article for World Book--would recent bear trouble really deserve mention? I suppose if the trouble was significant enough that it received some attention from the Canadian national press, a verifiable source that you could link to in the article, it might be worth a mention. (Is it an annual problem? Are they particularly deadly bears?) The point is, if this is meant to be a real encyclopedic source (and it is), all the information should be independently verifiable, hence WP:Verifiable. And ask yourself if it's really notable before inclusion.
The fact that Brampton, Ontario has a claim that you find spurrious doesn't mean my points here are less valid. Edit that article, and whatever other articles, to your heart's content, but please do it within the confines of the Wikipedia Guidelines.
I'm going to restore the content of the article to my last edit. Feel free to edit this article (and any others)--be bold in your edits to this and all other articles, but follow the rules. I don't want to discourage you from participating in this global project. -- Scientizzle 03:59, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
