Discussion of writing article[edit]

This is not meant to be an advertisement. It's my first attempt to recognize a Joplin, Missouri landmark. OldManO (talk) 03:25, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hope I did that correctly....

...you know, this page was created after I proposed the Spaghetti Red page of deletion for advertisement for only having one thing on it and promotion. Coincidence? ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 04:10, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, I made a noob mistake of editing.

I have added documentation of "famous" status, and tried to address neutrality and advert issues OldManO (talk) 13:24, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope recent edits help eliminate many of the objections OldManO (talk) 16:02, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Old Man, thanks for adding this great article on a famous eatery! It's got a lot of good content. I've made some changes to try to make the article more encyclopedic. I hope you don't mind. The more newspaper and magazine article sources you can add the better. If you look how I formatted the reference you added in the article's text (it's done in the article text by putting <ref>reference information and link if it has on ehere</ref>) you'll see how to add more references to the article which is one of the issues editors have identified as a problem with this article. They want to know where the information in it comes from. Even if the sources aren't available on-line you can cite them. Since this encyclopedia is built on reliable information editors here are very focused on getting verifiable information. Some people have been known to make up articles about non-existent topics, so it's nice to be able to know where to look to read up on a topic. Thanks again. And have some chili and tamales for me. Sounds delicious! ChildofMidnight (talk) 17:23, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
