Can someone rewrite the lead para in English please (not medical jargon)?--Light current 03:14, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gait analysis. Why only human?

[edit]

There is much more to this field than you seem to imply see e.g. http://www.liv.ac.uk/premog http://www.rvc.ac.uk/SML and so many more. We could contribute to locomotor/gait if you only ask.

Tag removal?

[edit]
I am proposing removing the Wikiproject Law Enforcement tag because there seems to be insufficient content for it to be included in the scope of the wikiproject. Let me know what everyone thinks EMT1871 01:14, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The study encompasses quantification (i.e. introduction and analysis of measurable parameters of gaits), as well as interpretation, i.e. drawing various conclusions about the animal (health, age, size, weight, speed etc.) from its gait pattern.

You can't manage parallel parenthesization around the double "i.e." stuffed in one sentence because you're also determined to stuff a list in the second clause ending with "etc."

That's a sure sign you're doing it wrong. — MaxEnt 03:20, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
