Original monument

[edit]

Also, it is worth noting that the text of the original monument marking the site (erected in 1949) reads: Narod sreza grada Bihaća podiže ovaj spomenik kao trajnu uspomenu na 12.000 nevino i zvjerski ubijenih Srba od strane ustaških zlikovaca u vremenu od juna 1941. god. do oktombra 1941. god. Neka je slavna i trajna uspomena nevinim palim žrtvama. garavica 27.vii.1949. godine. (The people of the town of Bihac erected this monument as a lasting memory to 12,000 innocent and ferociously murdered Serbs by Ustasha villains Between June and October 1941. In honour and lasting memory of these innocently fallen victims. Garavica, 27 VII 1949.) This monument also still exists, although it is incredibly hard to find and is somewhat scarred from the recent war. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.80.42.181 (talk) 20:46, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So is the location's proper name singular (Garavica) or plural (Garavice)? --Joy [shallot] (talk) 22:58, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

edit: I've edited bad translation and CAPS up there. Proper name is Garavice.
