Redir target[edit]

Is this correctly targetted? The article at gas metal arc welding currently [1] doesn't seem to contain the term gasless at all. Andrewa (talk) 03:47, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

So add it. Where else would you suggest targeting it? Andy Dingley (talk) 09:32, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's entirely possible that we currently have no suitable target article. Are you sure that the term gas metal arc welding covers the topic of Gasless MIG? Better to have no redirect than one to the wrong article, surely? I'd probably stubify this page. Alternatively add a section to arc welding and link to that. Fixed thank you and well done. Andrewa (talk) 23:14, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Andy Dingley But maybe flux-cored arc welding would be an even better choice. And perhaps that article isn't at the best name... I didn't know the term flux-cored arc welding as it hasn't occurred in any of the product catalogues etc I've been looking at while I consider purchasing one. But I see you've edited that other article in the past [2] so I'm a bit curious as to why you didn't suggest a redirect there in the first place, rather than writing a new section that largely duplicates the information.
It's still good progress but maybe we're not quite there yet. Andrewa (talk) 00:43, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
