The article says Miller published a list of groups of order 64 in 1930 that had many errors, but no reference is given. In fact, the biography by H.R. Brahana says he made few mistakes, though one was the denial the Mathieu group M24. To assert his mistake here on the order 64 list, a reference should be given.Rgdboer (talk) 20:48, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Miller published a paper asserting that M_24 did not exits (1898). However, He corrected this mistake himself in a paper in 1900 so it seems to be a misrepresentation of his work to cite this mistake in such a short account of his work.
Moreover, Miller is usually credited for proving the simplicity of (several) Mathieu groups--See the Mathieu groups page on wikipedia. 128.84.234.220 (talk) 14:52, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
