Odds

He finished at 18/1 on paddy power, 28/1 on betfair and was even as high as 60/1 on betfair at one stage 86.43.82.13 (talk) 09:45, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For most this would confuse people. I can't see how this is beneficial to the article Thenthornthing (talk) 09:47, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It would be pertinenet to include the fact that he received extensive traing from Bov at the foundry dance studio in warrington —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dajhm1 (talkcontribs) 22:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DOB

Where have you got his date of birth from? I've seen it on various fan sites, i.e bebo groups etc. But haven't found a solid site with his date of birth on. Thenthornthing (talk) 13:17, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quite right, me neither. I've changed it to just his age.LHMike (talk) 20:29, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

George Sampson-Winner Of Britains Got Talent 2008

George Sampson was a normal, not at all rich, 14 year old boy from Warrington, Until it all changed..... His birthday is 29th June 1993!!!! Media:Example.ogg

In 2008, 14 year old George Sampson went and auditioned for Britains Got Talent In Manchester, with a very special talent....Break Dancing. He decided to do it because in 2007, George auditioned but he didnt get through to the Semi- Finals although Simon Cowell did whatever he could to keep him in the competition. So George came back, 1 year older and about 5 inches taller, hoping that his dreams will come true. And, before he knew it, they did. He got three yes's from the judges and no buzzers were heard at his audition. The break-dancing superstar won his semi-final with that breath-taking performance of Gene Kelly ft Mint Royale - Singing In The Rain. He ended up flipping on his back and lying in the pouring rain, wet, nervous & speechless. After Ant & Dec let george get his breath back, all he could say was "Im Speechless, wow , thats the best performance ive ever done". Piers Morgan told George that he was a fighter, Simon Cowell told him that he had to have a chance of winning the competition and finally, Amanda thought that he couldnt top his semi final winning performance for the final, but guess what he did. He still used his Singing In The Rain remix but improved it even more with head spins and more flips and turns. In The Results, the public voted their top three. The acts were; Opera Singing boy Andrew Johnston, Michael Jackson Duo Signature & of course, George Sampson. In The End, Andrew won 3rd place, and Signature were the Runners Up. So George, the kind of poor 14 year old lad from Warrington walked away with 100,000 prize money and a slot to perform in the royal variety show in front of Prince Charles. All of the finalists in the competition will be taking part in the tour which starts on the 6th June and tours around the country! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kourtney...x (talkcontribs) 14:21, 3 June 2008 (UTC) Umm...What the hell as that got to do with it? 81.145.241.245 (talk) 15:35, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Health / Scheuermann's Disease

Concerning Scheuermann's affecting the optic nerve, I believe this is unlikely, despite a widely reported interview. Scheuermann's appears from available references to be a skeletal disease of the spine, causing curvature. It may affect the nerves in the spinal column. However, the optic nerves do not travel through the spinal column, and are unlikely to be directly or even indirectly affected by compression of or damage to the spinal column / nerves in the region of the thoracic vertebrae.
